We visited the Norfolk Broads site in September. The weather was lovely and we really enjoyed the area and the site. Our son and partner visited for a few days and we enjoyed some pubs and meals out, with them. We all had a fun, if slow, day when we hired a Day Boat from Wroxham - it was nice to see the area from a different perspective and it was fun trying to ‘park’ the boat at lunchtime!!! Horsey Windpump was interesting, although we were unable to see much as it was undergoing renovation but it will be great when completed. We tried the visiting the Fish and Chip van, not recommended I’m afraid, also very rude! They omitted to give us one portion of fish so OH went back to ask for it. He was told in no uncertain terms that we WERE given all the order, but on saying no, sorry, we were missing one fish he was given a refund for that and told ‘do not to return’!! Charming! We loved the area and look forward to another visit to this lovely site.
