We book this site when visiting relatives as it is so convenient. The site is kept immaculate by this small team of very hard working, friendly wardens. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they even go to fetch fish & chips to order for you on a couple of days a week. As motor-homers (one with reduced mobility) we do find we need to hire a car but this is easily done, either through the Club or from a local garage. Tesco is a very short drive away for all your provisions or there is a bus stop on the near by main road. The Hare & Hounds is within walking distance even for us, they are dog friendly & serve good food. A visit to the Donkey Sanctuary with free parking & free entry is a must even if only for their superb cafe serving a wide range of food. Sidmouth is just a few miles away & is our personal favourite as we always seem to pick up bargains there. Mocha cafe on the seafront (corner of the shopping street) is very nice & also dog friendly.
