Great Site

Had an enjoyable long weekend at Riverside, even with the at times inclement weather. Facilities were excellent and clean, pitches flat and tidy, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely little town, with a number of nice places to eat and drink. Caught the train to Llandudno, and also walked to the Ugly House café. Will return

Great stay

Fantastic location to explore Betws-Y-Coed and the surrounding area. Great train links to travel further afield. The site was immaculate and peaceful. The staff were very helpful and the site shop was extremely well stocked.

Exceptional

For us this site had it all - great location with all amenities nearby, wonderful scenery, spacious full service pitches and great dog walks direct from the site. Yes there’s a small local railway nearby but the vintage station adds character and the service is modern, reliable - and cheap. The site was busy even in September and it’s not surprising as Morris sites are setting an excellent standard. Unfortunately they do charge for dogs here and signage indicates that dogs should be exercised off-site. Of course, not all dogs are able to comply!

Lovely site

Lovely site! excellent facilities and very near public transport. I love that they have stocked dairy free Ice creams in the reception amongst the usual offerings, was a godsend on hot days :) I am very impressed by Morris leisure and will be looking to book another of their sites

Well worth revisiting

Riverside site and location exceeded our expectations. Friendly and helpful wardens who work hard to keep the site and facilities in pristine condition. We will devinitely visit again.

Beautiful location

Lovely site with beautiful location,,unfortunatly let down by a couple of factors. The proximity of the local sewage treatment works causes some unpleasant odours depending on wind direction. As another member pointed out,there is a charge for dogs,however there is no on site facilities for your dog, the adjacent river walk not being part of the site. Having said this, the staff are excellent and very helpfull and we enjoyed our recent weeks stay.

WoW

We stayed here for a 4nts break this week it really does have that wow factor set in such picturesque surroundings you have to go to see for yourself .There is so many lovely walks to go on along the winding river and country park settings right on its door step .The camp site does have a railway line close to it but we didn't think it was noisy and also smelt no smells from the water treatment plant at all ? outside the site there are lots of local pubs serving food some welcome pets there are also 2 chip shops and a curry house and other shops to buy groceries from and gifts. I would class this site as 5* for people who want a quiet scenic walking holiday or just to relax and chill at there own pace with strict site rules.The highlight of the break for me was seeing the RAF fighter jets training in the skys above what a sight like something out of the film Top Gun awesome experience other than that go try and enjoy we will be visiting again .

Fantastic location and wardens

Great location in heart of Betws-Y-Coed. Site very clean and helpful wardens. There is a railway track at the edge of the site with a train going through at 6.50am which woke us every day. Site felt like it had no atmosphere either. Would return as nice to be close to shops and pubs but not for the site specifically

Once, but never again

Rarely have we been on such an uninviting campsite. No atmosphere at all. And what a ridiculously high price. There is only one sanitary building and that is really too little.

Short Stay

We had a quick 3 night stay at this site we had previously visited in the Summer ,we find it to be a beautiful place to visit so much to see just a short drive takes you to many places the weather will not hold you back .The facilities are all in working order and the staff are very helpful we will visit again soon. It makes the 6 hour journey worth it.
