Another great stay.

My wife and Dachshund stayed at Salisbury Hillside for the 2nd excursion out in the 'van, we also stayed there for the 1st. Coincidentally we were allocated the same pitch so setting up and finding things was easy. Set up was quicker than the first time, thankfully. The Bank Holiday weekend was busy but the site was still quiet and peaceful. The pitches are well spaced out and the hookups easy to get to and the water and waste facilities superb. The host are great, and chatty as well as being efficient and keep the park in a great condition. Drainage is great and the views are spot on from some of the pitches and a short walk from others. The dog walk left is short and pointless, but go to the right and the world opens up for access to many more walks. Danebury Hill Fort and Figsbury ring are close by and great walks. The track leading to Figsbury ring is challenging in anything but a Paris Dakar Racer :-) please take care. The views from both of these are spectacular. Salisbury Hillside is conducive to relaxing which is exactly what I needed and got. Tilshead Caravans are less than 2 miles away, and Webbs Caravans about 6 miles and both are superb just in case you need anything for your stay. We will be back for sure.
