Awesome site and staff

Level site, extremely well maintained. Facilities are spotlessly clean. Showers are hot and strong. Washing up area is enclosed which makes it better if there is poor weather. Staff are an absolute delight to converse with and are obviously proud of their site. Beach is a pleasant 20 minute walk or 3 minute's in the car. Good walking area's for the dog adjacent to the site. Layout of the site is good with bushes and trees in abundance. Highly recommend.

Sunny Sutton!

This is our third stay at this site and is a firm favourite with us now! We appreciate all the hard work the wardens have done to encourage wildlife back into the site, it’s definitely working! We went to sleep to birds chirping and woke up to their songs…. Perfect for us secret twitchers! The site is immaculate and peaceful. The lovely beach is just a short stroll away ,lots of dog walking and Sutton is such a lovely town, more like a village! We have booked back in already 😃

Excellent in every respect

Our first ever trip in our motorhome and we could not have picked a better site - so very quiet and peaceful - the staff were amazing and helpful and all the facilities were just so impeccably clean. A short walk and you are at the sea in amongst the sand dunes. We took our bikes and explored the local area and found many things of interest during our week on the site. Well done Caravan & Motorhome Club this was an exceptional site with exceptional staff - Thank You

Great Site, very clean and tidy

We stayed here for 7 nights at the end of April. The site is well laid out, clean and very tidy. Facilities were excellent although we used our own. Fish and chips visited the site but it was too late for our stomachs! Wardens helpful and friendly, very quiet at night. Access - be sure to read the best way to approach the site as the satnav suggested route is narrow and a bit hairy for caravans. Pitches all tidy and wardens could be seen working on the park during our stay doing general maintenance and weeding. A site we would return to if we were in the area.

Great Campsite

Had a great holiday here in April. Staff could not have been more accommodating. We had a bit of an issue with our Motorhome & they were really helpful & we were able to resolve the problem. As fairly novice owners this was a bonus. The site itself was well maintained, out in the country side but close enough to the town without feeling isolated. Would recommend this site to all

Great site and staff

We stayed from 11 April to 22 April, having first visited the site in May 2021. Since then the facilities and the pitches have benefitted from an upgrade, which has made an excellent site even better. Our hardstanding pitch was level, grass free and well drained, which was a distinct advantage in view of the high winds, heavy rain and hailstones! The registration process was efficient and we received a friendly welcome on arrival. This approach was consistent by the staff throughout our stay. The staff were active on site every day, keeping the facilities spotless and the pitches tidy as they became vacant in readiness for new arrivals. The staff were also proactive in maintaining a safe environment on the site, particularly where a couple of individuals ignored the speed limit! As part of the upgrade a small enclosed area has been provided for dogs so that they can be let off the lead. This is a real benefit for making dogs comfortable early in the morning and late at night. The off-site walks are good with a thoughtfully provided access from the the rear of the site onto footpaths leading to the sea and into Sutton. In the latter respect this proves a safe alternative route to the road into town avoiding Crabtree Lane, which does not have a pavement. There are a number of place worth visiting, including the seal sanctuary on the road to Mablethorpe, the donkey sanctuary near Alford and the RAF airfield at Coningsby, where it is possible to watch Typhoon fighter jets take of and land from various viewing points. We had lunch at the café at Anderby Creek and at the watermill at Claythorpe. The food was excellent at both places but the watermill definitely had the edge both in terms of the food quality and location. Sutton has a Coop, a small Spar supermarket, an excellent bakers and a decent hardware store.

Seasonal Pitch (15 ) 2022

We have just finished our seasonal stay at the site. We arrived in March and departed on 6th November. Although we have visited the site for numerous years, this was the first time we were fortunate to get a seasonal pitch. We really enjoyed our stay and had an excellent summer. The wardens John and Sandra were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made sure I was supplied with plenty of "cake" from the well stocked shop. The site was always kept neat and tidy and the facilities were superb. We also enjoyed the Queens Platinium Jubilee celebrations at the site. I would highly recommend this site to members. It is ideally situated with a short walk to the beach, or to catch the local bus service to Sutton-on-sea, Mablethorpe or Skegness. Member Bob Evans Leicestershire

Usual club standard a short walk from the beach

This was our first visit to the site which we chose for walking to the beach - it is a 20 minutes walk to the beach along well defined public footpaths across arable fields - ok for dogs off lead most of the way. The site itself is relatively small for club sites and the usual high standard of cleanliness and maintenance. The toilet block was refurbished 3 years ago and is of a high standard. There is a small enclosed area on site for letting dogs off lead but it was too small for our Labrador. However, immediately outside the site entrance are public footpaths which run around the site perimeter and provide good off-lead dog walks. They can also be accessed from a gate on the site perimeter at the other end of the site from the entrance - there is a code for opening the gate from the outside which you are given on arrival. There are a few shops in Sutton town centre including a modern Co-op which we did not use but seemed likely to have a reasonable range.

Super Sutton

Lovely to visit this site again but sad it was only for three nights. Very friendly relatively new to site wardens working hard to make improvements. A week old secure free to roam off lead dog area has been constructed behind the exit barrier and information room. Great improvement to the site as walking on Crabtree lane can be a bit disconcerting with the heavy farm vehicles and traffic. Another new addition by head office is the twelve seasonal pitches marked by a purple post scattered throughout the site.Still a short walk to the beach and town. Beware of Jelly Fish being washed up on the beach. Looking forward to booking this site again for nest year.
