Good location

A well managed, tidy site. First time visit and its a busy site. But understandably so. Its so well located, close enough to motorways to drop into going north or south. Comfortable, but pitches may be tighter than some other caravan club sites. Minor criticism would be "why the need to cut grass on Sundays" when its so peaceful ( some may disagree with the noise from the bells from the abbey next to the site......which we love!)  Otherwise a delightful stay.  We will be back.

Another great stay at Tewkesbury

Just had a long weekend at Tewkesbury, a fovourite site of ours. We arranged to meet some friends there and we allenjoyed ourselves. The site is great if you are a dog owner as there is access to a beautiful park just outside the park gates. Facilities as always were spotless. The site is within walking distance of the beautiful town and we can recommend the market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Site Wardens welcoming and a special thank you to the assistant wardens for their assistance when we encountered a problen with our car just before we left. looking forward to our next visit.

Terrific 5 Days at Tewkesbury Abbey Site

Just returned from 5 great days at Tewkesbury Abbey Club site. Everything you would expect from a Club site and more; probably the most friendliest wardens we have met. Nothing was too much for them and they managed to keep the site in immaculate condition. Yes the toilet blocks are showing their age but again kept lovely and clean. This site has everything we want, plenty of dog walking areas just outside the site, close to the town and lots of different walks near by. Tewkesbury is a lovely town with a stunning abbey and many different pubs and restaurants to suit everyones taste. Have already booked to return again next month just to see the two best and hardest working wardens on site - Tracy and Debbie (Tracy told us to say that lol).

Tewksbury Abbey Caravan Park

We had a 3 night break at Tewksbury Abbey Caravan Club site and love how close it was to the town centre, just a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants and public houses Etc. A very clean well maintained site with very friendly, helpful wardens. A nice big field to walk your dog on, everything we needed was here, will be back soon. Thank You

Tewkesbury Abbey

First visit to this site, been meaning to stay for a while. Finally got the opportunity. Nice site within walking distance of the town and all the amenities. The site was busy, but peaceful, we visited various pubs takeaways etc wetherspoons just a five minute walk away. My only minor criticism is that you have to go and find yourself a pitch which was a little confusing for me anyway on a first visit, it would be more helpful if the wardens escorted you to show you what was available, booked to stay again as we do like the site and location, well worth a visit in my opinion.

Nice site

GOOD POINTS. The site is in a very good location within a few minutes walk of Tewkesbury centre. It is kept very clean and tidy by an outstanding team of wardens. M5 junction 9 is only a few minutes easy drive away.. NOT SO GOOD POINTS The toilet, shower and pot washing facilities, though kept  spotless by the wardens, are well overdue for a refurbishment to say the least. There is a public footpath which borders one side of the site which unfortunately links the town with a nearby housing estate. This is used by a number of local residents to make their way home after a night sampling the joys of local pubs until the early hours. The language and behaviour of these people leaves a lot to be desired. There is also a public carpark adjacent to this footpath such seems to be used as a meeting place for local residents until the early hours at the weekend. Sadly this can disrupt a decent nights sleep

Fantastic stay thank you

Wow what a fantastic club site  We really loved this site as it has everything for everyone  2 mins walk to the abbey and town centre  Well kept pitches and site grounds with fantastic Wardens made us feel really welcome even remembering my name each time we met  There's no play Park on site for families but there is a park just outside the site gate  Facilities are dated but are kept spotless but this IMHO is reflected in the nightly pitch fee  We bought a new mh from marquis just round the corner from the site so have booked to return in two weeks which the warden said if we need any help with the new van just ask which I thought was really nice of them  Keep up the good work and can't wait till we return

Another enjoyable week at Tewkesbury

Very conveniently situated close to town. Met up with friends in their motorhome and used one of the motorhomes to get out and about. Plenty of places to visit in the vicinity and the staff as always eager to assist and make members welcome. As usual came back loaded with plants from the local market. Our son and daughter now have teenage children of their own so difficult to make valid comments regarding question "Good for families"

One Of My Favourites

One of my favourite Caravan Club Site's which we frequently visit. Amazing location in the shadow of the Cathedral which is well worth a visit. Nice short stroll into town.Plenty of space adjacent to the site to exercise the pooch. My only gripe is that the toilet blocks require a revamp, otherwise its one of the best. Yet again the Wardens are great and always eager to assist.

Terrific Tewkesbury

We've stayed at this site before, it's perfect for a 3 to 4 night break. The amenities are up to the usual excellent C.C. standard, apart from the very low cold water pressure, it takes forever to fill our motorhome water tank? There are lots of lovely traffic free walks for you & your dogs & the town is very dog friendly. All but 3 pubs allowed dogs in, it's a shame Wetherspoons are anti dogs, they must loose a lot of trade.
