Just had a weekend at this site and cant believe some of the negative reviews that people are writing. Bells are too loud - are you having a laff ? This is a working abbey, the location is one of the main reasons you go there, because it is close to the abbey and the town. People playing music and having a good time on the site - are you havin a laff ? Why do people go away in their caravans. To sit moaning all night. Get real. Cricket club music too loud - we sat outside on Saturday evening thought it was great change TBH Toilet blocks too far. I must say, after the amount I ate and drank whilst trying to keep in tune with the bells at 2.00am each morning, I never had an issue making it to the toilet. If its too far, use your toilet in your van/MH or carry a doggie bag. What is wrong with some people. Go out, let your hair down and enjoy yourself. There are fields in the middle of nowhere that might be more suitable, but then you would probably complain that the grass is too green, the sky is too blue, or the water is too wet. ;-)
