We really enjoyed our time at Thetford Forest, so peaceful but just a little too far from the nearest town for us. We have a motorhome so intended using our bikes or walking (which we did). The site was being managed by temporary wardens who were really friendly and helpful, a lovely couple who were doing a great job. We were treated to some treetop flying from the nearby RAF/US station, Apache helicopters & Osprey aircraft, very impressive. The only reason we probably wouldn't visit again is because there are so many other places in the UK we have yet to visit.
