Beautiful Setting & So Peaceful

The drive down towards the site is lovely, large grass areas either side of the track. Assistant Wardens so friendly (Tim & Tina) were on duty during our stay. This is a large site but when we visited mid May only 20/25 units on site so super quiet. Toilet block has plenty of showers/toilets and lovely & clean. You can walk from various exits on site to different areas but other than that you need a vehicle (no bus stop until the main road). Beaches are beautiful in the area with plenty to choose from, lots of National Trust Car Parks around for different walks/beaches etc. This site also has the best Dog Walking area, if you have dogs they will love it. Will definitely return

Chilled time

Only our second time using club to book a short break at treamble valley. Staff totally friendly and helpful. Very peaceful site with plenty of local walks to do with our dog. We recommend you purchase club map for these walks. Shower blocks and toilets clean at all times. As was the whole site. If using a Motorhome you may wish to tow a vehicle for longer stays as no shop on site, or bus stops near by. Also our advice would be to pitch on hard stand pitch if you have a large Motorhome. If your visiting on a Saturday or Sunday the Fish n chip van and Pizza van are a treat!

Had an awesome stay

We just stayed there for 3 weeks and had a good time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the site kept very clean and tidy. A great park for the kids and great dog walks as well. Saying sea views i find a joke as can see a small part of the sea miles away between to tow large hills. Toilet block needs a rethink as 4 urines, 7 Toilets yet only 2 hand basins and ONLY 1 hand dryer. The site is on an old quarry and a very big hill, and as only one toilet block right near the top can make it a very long walk if you dont park close by them. We had trouble putting in pegs due to it being a quarry and no chance of screwing in out dog stay in.

A perfect holiday location for exploring!

Treamble Valley Club Campsite was our tenth trip using our tourer with the caravan club and we choose the site from previous reviews, we were not dissapointed. We selected a pitch in the warren, only space for three tourers, two were already pitched with a permanant pitch caravan, leaving just the one for us. It was perfect, sheltered and private , we had space at the front and the back of the caravan. The shower block less than a few steps and the fabulous dog walk (the best we have ever found on a club camp site) was just next to us (bonus for our dog). The site is beautifully kept and the wardens very polite and helpful cannot fault them. The area is so close to Newquay if that is what you require from your holiday. Though I would recommend Mawgan Porth beach is just far enough from Newquay (4 miles) perfect for dog owners and families (best fishs and chips @ Blue fish bar). We visited Perranporth (very busy) but the best was The Holy Well & St. Cuthbert’s Cave, the most incredible beach, tourquise sea, and sandunes, Highly recommend this beach National trust members park free, wehad a fabulous time!! Suffice to say this was the perfect location for a family plus a dog needs. Treamble was the best site we have been to and we will be returning next year...hopefully have the same pitch (fingers crossed) and explore even more of this perfect area. To note phone signals in this area of Cornawall are non-existent which is not a bad thing if you want solitude, but using it to navigate around the area was touch and go! : ) A perfect holiday location for exploring

Busy but quiet

This site is in a perfect place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the towns and beaches of Newquay and Perranporth but near enough to travel by car or bus for a day out. The site itself is clean, tidy and well maintained by a team who work efficiently and deserve credit for their hard work. The facilities are clean and basic-could really do with modernising considering the cost of a stay. Having been on more than 6 sites this year already, I am very disappointed that stools and shower curtains are still not back in the shower cubicles. As a peson over 65, my balance is not what it was and i am finding it difficult to balance when getting dressed after a shower without a stool to sit on. Please can you place stools back in shower cubicles.

Fantasic place to stay

The site is kept pristine by the wardens, they do some craft activities with the children and decorate the site with them. There are bedding plants in pots around the office that look lovely, I definitly recommend staying here.

Unfortunately the road traffic act of 1988 is not enforced by the warden and thus the club

Despite the use of e-scooters and racing electric Go karts by children clearly going over the 5mph speed limit and against the one way system against the road traffic act of 1988 as below the wardens claimed they could do nothing about this risk to my grandchildren so we left the site earlier than planned, so unless the club have given permission for there use they can take action including reporting to the police see below from gov.uk 4. Where can a powered transporter be used legally? You can use powered transporters on private land to which the public does not have access without legal restrictions. The permission of the owner or occupier of the land must be obtained however. In other spaces various laws and regulations restrict the use of motor vehicles, including powered transporters. The way in which they restrict the use of powered transporter depends on where that use takes place. Hence I will not be returning to this site unless there is a change of warden that have the ability to enforce the club rules snd the law

Lovely Treamble

This site is beautiful. We return year after year. The wardens are so helpful and kind and extremely friendly. This year we had a problem with the electric which was sorted immediately. I have just read a review about how the wardens were unhelpful about early arrival . It is clearly stated no arrivals on site before 1 o’clock. It’s a rule !! They are there for a reason. Rules are to be followed not broken. We had a lovely holiday and will be returning next year God willing.

Best CAMC site!

Treamble site is totally fantastic! Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, the best and largest playground of all the sites we have been to, and the craft opportunities for children(big and small) are incredible. The way that the site includes the creations of current and previous campers is amazing. We all loved the “under the sea” tree and the fairy village with real fairly lights! There are beautiful flowers and fun signs all over the site that make you feel special and keep you smiling from ear to ear😀. Thank you so much CAMC and the superb staff running this fabulous site!
