Showering to rap 'music'

Lovely site, excellent wardens, well stocked shop, views to die for, grass not cut every time a daisy appeared, very peaceful except modern pop music in the toilet block, very loud and could be heard outside in the open air. Why oh why do wardens think it necessary to play music especially on a site that is renowned for peace and quiet. If it was soft background maybe OK but loud rap, whinging singing all day and night. We spent £26.per night to use our own facilities. We presume that the CC pay PRS to play the music. Also we felt sorry for people coming at 12 that all the prime pitches were taken by outfits coming in at 10.30. We also moved pitches as 4 huge 'circuses' came in so we moved to a quieter pitch.. From now on we will be ringing to see if music is played before we book. we think St. Mawes and Edinburgh also play the 'din' in their toilet blocks.

Beautiful site

Just back from spending 12 nights at this gem of a site. We were able to extend our stay as it such a georgeous site. The views are to die for, and we managed to get on the front row, which was great except for the very high winds, so be warned, had 3 bad nights, but worth it. The site is very tidy well laid out site, the toilet block clean warm and never crowded. The wardens were all very pleasant and friendly, always a wave and a chat. The shop well stocked and lovely pasties and bread delivered daily. A very nice relaxing holiday, we will be back - can't wait.

Windy!

This sight boasts superb views of the ocean and wonderful walks along the coast path and surrounding footpaths. The wardens are friendly and helpful and the site's shop is well stocked with the basics as well as local pasties, bread and cakes. The price to pay for the splendid views, however, is that the site is exposed...be warned: gale force winds abound!

Incredible location

This was our first stay at this site and we blown away by the views. The site itself is excellent and well looked after, the toilet/shower block was spotless, and the wardens were really friendly. The location is perfect for coastal walks to Boscastle and Tintagel. Make sure you follow the instructions on how to get to the site and ignore the SatNav! We will definitely be returning.

Amazing views! Perfect place to chill out

This was our first time we have visited Trewethett Farm and it certainly won't be our last. Pretty much all the pitch's have sea views with the site being on the cliff edge and pitch's on various levels. We stayed for 6 nights and every night we had a perfect sunset. Luckily we didn't put up an awning as the wind changed dramatically over night a few times, so it would be wise to consider this. The site is ideal for relaxing, excellent coastal walks into Tintagel and Boscastle. Wardens seemed helpful and the place always looked tidy.

Fantastic site

I visited with my sister, we spotted the campsite when we were driving to Tintagel from Boscastle (we were actually staying at Tavistock and visiting the area on a day trip out) and both commented how stunning the location was, so we decided to book and stay for a few nights over the Easter weekend.  We were so pleased with the location, great walks along the coast path. The wardens were very friendly and lovely to chat to. They absolutely love the site and were always smiling, nothing was too much trouble. Great clean facilities, little onsite shop with good selection of essential items.  Everyone on site we met were very friendly and the views are incredible. The sunsets were spectacular. Can't wait to go back.
