Long way to the beach!

After a horrendous journey we arrived and quarter to six. The shop was closed but the female warden appeared as I was getting out of the car and shouted across to me ‘name.?!’ As I got in the shop I was given the bill and a temporary key to the dog gate and told to go back early in the morning with the pitch number. Not a smile or ‘hello’ we were made to feel an inconvenience. I went back in the morning and I was asked my pitch number and that was it, so I still felt a bit unwelcome. (Perhaps it was an off day). Later in the week a caravan pitched next to us at 8.30 in the evening. There are no barriers at the main gate, and as there is no dog walk so you need a key to unlock and lock the gate to take a dog into the lane. The shower block lovely and clean, and could be such a peaceful site if it wasn’t for the sit on motor mower which is out every day, even on Sunday. The site is further to the beach than we thought and too far for children to walk. One evening we drove to ‘Marine Drive’ it was free to park after five and we had a lovely walk down and across the dunes with the dog to the beautiful beach.
