Wet but great

We stayed for 7 nights when the storms hit the country in June. The last time we visited this site was 1984! The pitches are large and well spaced with a nice light airy feel to the site . Loo block very modern and kept very clean. There is not a dog walk on site, you wander through pitches to the footpath/cycleway outside the site. This is not ideal. The Wardens are very friendly and gave us a nice warm welcome. Just a note of caution do not arrive before 12 as the lane to the site is narrow( we arrived after 13.00 in case you wondered) as you might meet somebody departing. The footpath/cycleway takes you all the way into Ilfracombe if you feel fit along the former Railway line.
