Stop gap on the way north to Paris

Spent 3 nights here and visited Tours and chateaux Chambourd. Both places amazing and easy to reach from this site. Toilets and showers a bit dated (old fashioned or old skool) but clean enough and worked well with plenty of hot water and loo paper (never a given in France). Level but sandy pitches with enough space for a UK caravan and car and if you wish an awning (we didn't bother with awning). Our allocated pitch was on the edge of the playing field with shade from some big trees, very welcome considering the 30+ degrees temperatures while we were there! There is definitely some road noise which for us is not a deal breaker as the site is very close to Tours centre but some may find the noise a bit intrusive. An amazing inflatable thing for kids who seemed to love every second playing on it - wisely the site deflated this feature mid/late evening so kids went home to caravan or tent to establish as much peace as possible. Is it a perfect site - no. Would we visit again - yes! Very happy to have stayed here.
