On first arriving the site looked a bit dated and the pitches are quite small. On closer inspection though, this site turned out to be a real gem! Facilities were spotlessly clean and we had no trouble with availability of showers etc - we were there from 25th - 29th July, so at peak season. Reception provided us with an adapter for the electrical hook-up so no need to have your own special equipment. It's only 10 minutes walk into Morges, an attractive town with shops, supermarkets and restaurants. There's a road train which does trips to local sights and vineyards, all details available at the nearby tourist information centre. The campsite gave us free passes for the outdoor swimming pool complex next door - all guests get them. This was absolutely fantastic with a mixture of pools including a toddlers pool, a huge family/play pool and a 50 metre swimming pool. There's plenty of well tended grass land around the pools to spread out and sunbathe on, with plenty of trees also for shade, and the whole place was spotless. The lake and the mountain views complete an absolutely perfect setting!
