Spectacular Scenery

A small site in the foothills of the Pyrenees. We only stayed one night en route back to France. The staff were excellent, as was the small shop. The ‘restaurant’ was merely a fast food eatery with nothing very imaginative on the menu. We didn’t try it. Our only problem with the site was the electricity. Every other site we stayed at had no problems, despite only offering a 6amp supply. On this site the only thing in our motorhome we could run was the fridge. Anything else, eg. water heater, hair dryer, tripped the supply. Fortunately, a friendly member of staff left the supply box open for us so we could reset it ourselves whenever it tripped. If you do visit the site, take heed of the warning if approaching from France via the Bielsa tunnel. The Spanish side is fine, but the French side is VERY steep with a large number of 180º hairpin bends. Definitely not for the faint hearted, although the scenery is spectacular.
