Lost in Paris

This story happened on: 22/04/2012

This happened about eight years ago, we were staying at Bien Assie over whitsun and I’d got a couple of tickets for the French open tennis at Roland Garros Paris.

Set off early and got to the tennis about eleven, had a really nice day in the baking sun before making our way back to the car around 4-30.

The road back to the Peripherique seemed pretty busy so decided to take a short cut and ended up getting totally lost so stopped to ask directions from a police man parked up in his little battered Renault, after getting directions at the next set of lights he suddenly appeared alongside and said follow me, off we went down side streets and main roads for several miles before he pulled in and waved me onto the Peripherique, often think of the kind good deed he did for us.
