We went to Sherwood Caravan Park on the 24th to the 26th and we loved it! Really friendly staff happy to help a complete novice! Other that struggling with the awning for 4 hours all was wonderful! Great fishing nearby a 12 pound carp made my weekend whilst the wife sat back and relaxed with her new kindle! And my 7 year old loved the friendly neighbours and above all we felt safe and well looked after! Without doubt we will go again! Damon

Sounds like you had a great time  [img]http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/grinser/grinning-smiley-003.gif[/img]  and i guess it wan't the fish that got hooked eh!  

By the way I used to be a carp fisherman.......  but I'm a bit better at it now ....  [img]http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/lachen/laughing-smiley-014.gif[/img]

A couple of years ago I bought a caravan at nearby Clipstone, and was recommended to try Sherwood Caravan Park- I did, and thought it was really good. It was in the autumn, and they had lots of equipment bargains in their site shop, too.
