Easy Spanish holiday

This story happened on: 14/03/2012

Las Dumas Caravan site is advertised in the mag and the joy of this site is twofold in that it is possible to easily go a lot of the way there on easy Non-Toll roads. The other advantage is you get Spanish Med weather in a beautiful area without the hike down through Spain. We went Portsmouth - Le Havre. Orleans,Chateauroux, Limoges, (Half Way), Continue on E9/ A20 passed Cahor, (Dordogne), Touloose By pass to our stop at Carcassonne Chateau. (Fantastic but you MUST book).Perpignan By-pass and 30 mins later in Spain. (Cheaper Diesel)  Off at number 3 and on towards Roses.(30 mins, Lovely town)  TR to San Pere Pescador on the island and you are there when you see the sea!

Lots to do, good Caravan Service agent nearby. ( Our Fridge died). Took us approx. 17hrs., not inc stops, ferry etc. We had two stops but younger people may do it in one.       Take a sun shade - Happy holidays.    Howard
