Booking a holiday in France

This story happened on: 09/04/2012

Just completed booking a holiday from Argyle in Scotland to Canet Plage in France and then back home to Northern Ireland through the Club. The on-line system is so easy to use that I completed the whole booking in about an hour, including insurance. We used to go to France regularly with tents, trailer tents (Camp-let GT - brilliant) and caravans starting in the seventies until about 10 years ago but now we are nearly in our seventies and want to do it all again. I have to thank the Club for the excellent and detailed advice available on all sorts of subjects - very valuable where I needed to update my knowledge!!

With two little dogs with us instead of children even the advice and info on organising a vet appointment near Calais was so helpful.

So, Birmingham, La Bien Assise at Calais, Pont Du Bourgogne at Chalons-Sur-Saone and finally Le Prairie at Canet Plage, repeating on the way back plus a few "Vet" days in La Bien Assise and finally Cairnryan to Larne then home.

Wish us luck!!

John

Hope you have a great trip but why are you starting from Argyll?

Just nosey!       We  are travelling on 2nd June from Norn Iron via Irish Ferries to France and back on 27th June but we will only travel to South of the Loire as the weather is usually good enough for us.
