Van trips Xmas

Why I hear you ask would anyone wish to spend Xmas away from a warm home with family or friends. Worst of all why would they want to spend it in a 20 ft by 7 ft tin box.

Well we did and found that many do. We decided to stay in Torbay, the site is Hillhead. We have stayed here before during sunnier, warmer times. Too be honest whilst it was exciting, romantic, when the weather declined and we along with our fellow campers huddled into Nico's for a Xmas celebration ( which was wonderful ) The wind was blowing the marquee attached to the main building so forcefully that it felt like it must have felt during the Blitz, not that I was expecting any bombs to drop or have had any experience of such an event ( just incase I have upset some member s who have ).
