Old Van Chronicles - Lydford Gorge

What a beautiful place to visit Lydford Gorge is! We are camped at Lydford Caravan and Camping Park for the week and enjoyed the walk down through the village, past the pub doing cream teas, and on down to the Gorge.

Lydford Gorge is owned and run by National Trust and will cost you an entrance fee of about £6 or so, but as we are members it cost us nothing except the annual membership fee, and have already taken advantage of this elsewhere also.

The campsite is affiliated to the Caravan Club, and has FREE WI-FI, which is how I am posting this. However, I will mention that mobile phone reception for our Vodafones is practically non-existant! 

The photos show White Lady Waterfall, two tranquill scenes along the Gorge, and our van (and Sarah) camped on site!
