Living in Minehead I am aware of the number of caravans and Motorhomes that venture down this way. No doubt campers are drawn to this area for the West Somerset Railway with it having the longest heritage line in the counrty, it really is impressive. I enjoy the real ale weekends! But I ask, is everone aware of the fabulous walks we haave in this area. North Hill being the start of the South West Coast Path, you can enjoy a walk to Porlock weir, and get the bus back! Hopcott another great walk to Timberscombe and bus back. Alcombe Combe and head towards Grabbist above Dunster a veiw of Dunster Castle NT and Dunster village with it's pubs and shops. We also have a fabulous golf course which provides access 52 weeks of the year, as this area of the country has one of the highest records for sunshine. Theatre is also alive in the town, just look for the Regal Theatre www.regaltheatre.co.ukprovides all information. Sorry but your too late for the Panto but there are plenty of amateur and professional shows thoughout the year logon to have a look.

No swimming pool and no likelyhood of it returning for a long time! However if your quick you can catch the last of the snowdrops in Snow Drop Vally come on down and find this treasure.
