New years eve camping-- mad or what!??!

Friends of ours invited us away for new years eve ... i politely declined as i explaned to my wife how the frozen water container...frozen gas , getting stuck on a site and maybe snowed in would be , well lets say ... not my idea of FUN!

As christmas came and went .. the weather got so mild .and with the time ahead free i said to Amanda , how about doing the new year and meeting up with the other 3 outfits of our friends , all soon to converge on Cirencester?

She ummmed and arghed and then we both decided .. why not!

off came the cover ... a quick pre check and clean in and out and we were off.

Arrived at the lovely site not far from the town centre where the others were all pleased to see us , they we already pitched up and so lent a hand to us sqeezing into the last pitch ..( i really must get a MOVER!)

We went on to have the greatest few days fuelled with wine ...and ten in  one awning each night! (please drink responsibly!) and  laughter, and walks into town along the pathways into Cirencester.... as we stumbled into bed the first night my wife commented " thanks for arranging it ... im so glad we came "

So just get out and do it!!  The water didnt freeze .. it was mild and very unexpected ... a lovely bonus and needed break.
