Treasure Hunt around Little Budworth

This story happened on: 19/10/2014

Just home from another great Cheshire Centre rally, this time on a field adjcent to the Egerton Arms in Little Budworth. As usual with a social on the rally field to start off the weekend and then we all moved into the Egerton arms which had a very lively atmosphere, helped along by the larger than life landlord.

In the morning we enjoyed a walk around the village following the clues to the treasure hunt set by our rally officers, some of the clues were very challenging and kept us searching for quite some time. The children were set the challenge of creating a collage from autumn leaves and things thay found out on the treasure hunt, and the older children had to find as many girls names that they could find again around the village.

We all assembled in the local village hall for a social with our resident DJ Hit and Miss! and were treated to Cheese and Wine to get the party started.

There was an unexpected surprise, during the childrens game of musical arms, we were visited by the loacl constabulary! Seems as though a local resident though that the village hall had been broken into! Can't imagine thieves breaking in and being so bold as to hold a party in there!!

Sunday morning was a relaxed start with closing flag late morning and the prize giving for the treasure hunt and the childrens activities.

It was another great weekend with the Cheshire Centre and the rally officers did us proud!
