#XploreMore 2014 - task 70 Buy a new book from a service station ...

This story happened on: 29/08/2014

Task 70 Buy a new book from a service station, read it within the 20 weeks and leave it on a site for someone else to read (you can pick up a free book for yourself from site too)

When Kerry came back from a service station with the latest Karl Pilkington book, The Moaning of Life, I took it as a hint that it would be I that complete this challenge.

Not that I minded, Karl Pilkington is a fascinating bloke, and his writing gives an insight into the man that I don’t think you see in his TV episodes (well, not from my limited experience of his TV work, anyway)

Anyway, if you are looking for guidance and advice on Marriage, Happiness, Kids, Vocation and Money or Death, then this book probably isn’t for you. But if you are wanting a good chuckle on funny, interesting and sometimes bizarre anecdotes on such topics, with plenty of Northern wit and banter, then pick it up and have a read.

You can buy it at all good bookshops, and all bad bookshops.

Oh, and for a limited period only, you can exchange it for a book swap at the Brecon Beacons Caravan Club bookcase. Hurry though, stocks are limited - get the first and maybe the last copy ;)
