Challenge 83 - Welly Wanging

We knew nothing about the wonderful sport of welly wanging prior to receiving this challenge. Whilst staying at a CL site near Beverley, we found an large open air spot on Beverley Westward, opposite the racecourse and roped in the grandparents for full team participation.

After splitting into two teams  (The Goofy lefties and The Regular Righties), each equipped with a wellie, we stood poised on our starting line aiming at The Black Mill (of course, with no chance of hitting it!). Each member of the team had one turn to "wang" their welly as far as possible so after three wangs we judged who had thrown the welly the furthest and closest the target. There were all sorts of methods used from under arm, over arm to swinging between the legs with varying results! After the best of five, the Regular Righties were declared the winners after winning 3 -2.

This was a brilliant challenge that we all enjoyed - thank you for the idea.
