We Will Overcome

This story happened on: 10/06/2020

Whilst reading through the June 2020 issue of the club magazine, I came across the section on virtual rallies and was heartened to read what other members had been doing, to stay in contact and remain together during these unprecidented times. It was also great to see the Facebook video of the CAMC Band all playing together and I felt I just had to share my own involvement in something similar, as it too holds an important message... one of hope and togetherness.

'We Will Overcome' is a collaborative song amongst musicians, singers & songwriters, from various locations around the UK, written and performed in isolation during the Covid-19 lockdown and is in aid of 'Embrace Child Victims of Crime'. We've even had UB40 comment on our youtube video and 100% of the proceeds goes to the charity :)

My wife, 2 kids and I are very much looking forward to our first weekend away in our caravan, having booked into a club site soon after the 4th July reopening! I have spent the last three days preparing the caravan, a Bailey Pegasus Palermo 2017 model, and I may just take the guitar with me!
