Portsoy Boat Festival

Our 1st Rally was most enjoyable everyone was very friendly. We arrived Friday night walked down to the village lovely place, We missed the opening ceremony at the site.
On Saturday the organisers Mamie & Bob with Fiona & Robbie had organised for the community bus to run everyone to the village. which was very helpful, Alex Salmond opened the Festival it rained all day, but we were prepared with waterproofs & umbrella the music was good, the boats amazing, plenty of stalls, crafts, food fayre, jewellery ect, We went back to the farm for the BBQ which it stayed dry and made new friends Alex, Roseann, Sandra,Bruce Annette, Brian & Stuart we had a lovely evening.
On Sunday there was still so much to see & do we missed the bus back, we decided a drink was needed, where we met the locals old & young who were very friendly.
We would like to Thank Fiona & Robbie, Mamie & Bob and all our new friends for making our week-end very special on our first rally.
