Transport back to the UK If your vehicle breaks down or gets stolen and won't be fixed or recovered in a driveable state and you need to be brought home, we'll make sure you and your vehicle get back safely. [more-start] If you have to leave your vehicle in Europe while it is being repaired, we will pay up to £600 towards a standard class single ticket by rail, sea or air, for one person to go and collect the vehicle once it is repaired. Is my caravan or trailer covered as standard on my European breakdown policy?
When you get a quote for the Mayday European Breakdown policy, provided by Green Flag, you will be asked if you want to cover your standard caravan or trailer. There is an additional premium for this as it is not covered as standard. If you have opted to cover your caravan or trailer, then this will show on your Insurance Plan document that will arrive with your Welcome pack once you have taken out your policy. These details may be checked when you take out a policy, and it will be checked at the time of any breakdown when you ask for help.
