2026 Training Centres
05/02/2026
The Caravan and Motorhome Club has announced that its 2026 training courses are now open for booking, including the addition of a brand-new training centre, The Caravan Towing Academy, Dereham in Norfolk to its nationwide network.
This new venue joins the Club’s established collection of professional training centres, providing caravanners, motorhomers and campervanners with even more opportunities to boost their confidence and road skills before the next touring season begins.
The addition of the Norfolk venue significantly strengthens the geographical spread of the network, which now operates across 18 locations throughout the United Kingdom. This expansion ensures that expert-led tuition is accessible to a broader audience of outdoor enthusiasts, making it more convenient for those in the East of England to access professional instruction. With venues now spanning from the south coast to Scotland, the Club continues to ensure that world-class training is available to all, regardless of their location or previous experience level.
The Club offers a range of expert-led courses designed for all levels of experience, from newcomers to seasoned tourers. The new Norfolk site will host the full suite of offerings, including Caravan Manoeuvring, which provides a full day of tuition for experienced caravanners, and Practical Caravanning, which offers a day and a half of hands-on training for those new to towing. For motorhome drivers, the Motorhome Manoeuvring course provides a full day of specialist tuition tailored to handling larger vehicles with confidence.
Every course is conducted by a team of qualified experts who are themselves seasoned tourers, ensuring that participants benefit from practical, real-world knowledge as well as technical expertise. These trainers provide a supportive environment where participants can master essential skills such as reversing, hitching, and high-speed stability. By learning from the best in the industry, holidaymakers gain the practical skills required to handle a variety of situations on the road, from navigating narrow country lanes to confidently reverse parking large vehicles.
Participants completing a course can also receive a five percent discount on Caravan Cover, or Motorhome, Campervan, and Car Insurance from the Caravan and Motorhome Club. This offer applies to new policies or renewals with proof of course completion, ensuring that gaining these vital skills delivers excellent value alongside increased safety and enjoyment.
Harvey Alexander, Director of Marketing and Membership Services at the Caravan and Motorhome Club, said: “We are delighted to announce that our 2026 training schedule is now open for booking, alongside the opening of our brand-new Norfolk venue. By increasing the geographical reach of these courses, we are making it easier than ever for more people to gain the confidence they need to start their touring adventures. Our training experts are the backbone of this programme and their ability to pass on years of specialist knowledge helps make touring holidays safer and more enjoyable for everyone.”
The courses are open to both members and non-members, with prices for the 2026 season starting at £194. Participants often choose to combine their training with a stay at a nearby UK Club Campsite, making it easy to turn learning into a mini-break.
