06/08/2020

The health benefits of camping and experiencing nature are well-documented, and if you’re in need of stress relief and a recharge, grabbing the tent and heading out for an adventure is a good way to make it happen. Camping can help your mood, your brain, your metabolism and your sleep patterns — so check out a Caravan and Motorhome Club campsite, plan your camping holiday and get on the road.

Tent pitches from £8.40 a night, a choice of 54 campsites across the UK, there's always somewhere new to discover. From the lochs of the Scottish Highlands to Devon’s incredible Jurassic Coast, you'll find a campsite to suit your needs.

Anyone can access the Club’s tent camping sites and you don't need to be a member to get started. Camping at a Club campsite gives you access to hot showers and bathroom facilities which are included with your pitch, you can also book electric hook-up pitches and WiFi is available at all Club campsites.  All you need is a tent and a love for the great outdoors.

Club campsites are available to everyone and there's no extra fee for non-members. You can take under 5s free of charge, and you can also take your four-legged friends with you at no cost.

Harvey Alexander, Director of Marketing and Membership Services at the Caravan and Motorhome Club said, “Fancy a night under canvas?  Stargazing, spending time outdoors and being close to nature is the perfect prescription for your wellbeing.  When you’re in the great outdoors it isn’t just about being in a new environment, it enables you to develop an appreciation for nature and taking time to simply breathe and let the stresses of everyday life ebb away.  We’ve also got sites near City centres which enable you to enjoy the hustle and bustle of a city and then return to a tranquil campsite.  Here at the Caravan and Motorhome Club we’ve got an amazing choice of COVID-secure campsites in idyllic locations, there’s a perfect pitch waiting for you.”
