Caravan and Motorhome Club refreshes Red Pennant Travel Insurance for touring holidays

The Caravan and Motorhome Club has launched a refreshed Red Pennant Travel Insurance product for members and non members, providing tailored cover for UK and European touring holidays. Designed to support touring holidaymakers, Red Pennant offers reassurance and medical protection whether members are driving or flying to their destination overseas.
Red Pennant Travel Insurance, offered by the Club, has been developed to reflect the needs of touring holidaymakers when travelling at home or abroad. European and UK breakdown cover is not included and must be purchased separately.
Developed in partnership with specialist travel insurance provider PJ Hayman, the refreshed Red Pennant Travel Insurance provides cover for UK-only and European trips, with automatic cover for a wide range of pre-existing* medical conditions included. Benefits include up to £2,500 for trip cancellation, including where a vehicle-related incident prevents travel, up to £2,500 if a trip has to be cut short, and up to £5 million in emergency medical expenses. Policyholders also have access to a 24-hour GP service throughout the policy period. There’s also support for vehicle repatriation where a medical emergency prevents onward travel.
Additional travel insurance options are also available for more complex requirements, including longer trips, worldwide travel, adventure activities, high-cost holidays and travellers aged 80 and over.
