The tiny Claus Resch Camping is run by Claus and his family. It is a delightfully simple, back-to-nature spot to spend a couple of relaxing days in the hills of Southern Styria in Austria. One of the top attractions is visiting the local wineries to taste the excellent local produce. The campsite is run alongside the holiday apartments and a pumpkin seed oil press (with possibilities to visit), which are all part of the family business.

In the surrounding area, there are castles, museums, and galleries further afield to learn about the history of the region. There are also great opportunities for guided and individual hiking and walking trails, as well as tours on foot, cycle, or quad bike to discover the surrounding green hills.

On-site, there are grassy, level pitches with a small wash block down the slope in the basement of the apartment block. Refreshments are available from a vending machine. If you need to ask Claus a question, he is usually working somewhere on the property; otherwise, he runs the camping pitches with an online, self-service check-in and a barcode for entry.

In the nearby, picturesque market town of Leutschach, you will find two restaurants, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, gardens, and a mini-golf course through the meadows. The site is 25 km from the nearest main route connecting Graz to Maribor in Slovenia, making it perfect for a peaceful, simple stopover.
