Always nice.
La Bella VistaLoved it!
La Bella VistaDisappointed
La Bella VistaVery disappointed with this site. Not only did we get charged the premium price by caravan club, when the site itself had reduced their prices. found this site to be poorly maintained. The plots had not been tidied for many months. The showers and toilet area although are cleaned are not maintained and the drains smell badly. Dog excrement was left on the path next to reception and not cleaned away over a few days. Only good thing going for this site is its location. The entertainment is okay, quiz good. Would we return. I certainly don't think so. The chemical toilet facility has certainly not been cleaned and maintenance was poor. No wonder there was a fly infestation....
Response from the Club:
The Management team have been notified of your review and they are currently investigating the issues raised. They have advised: “We endeavour to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction and sincerely apologise that recently we may have fallen short of these expectations and our usual high levels of service. Immediate action will be taken to ensure that the maintenance of pitches is investigated and improved alongside implementing the installation of dog waste bins and bags. We value customer feedback and will use this to make improvements. Thank you and we do hope you will return to enjoy another holiday in the sun with us soon." Louise Morgan - Director
So much potential - don’t book based on the Photos
La Bella VistaFirst thing - those photos must be from 2011/12 when the camp was first built, all the vegetation is much more grown around the pitches and trees provide the shade, also a lot of long term stayers with full pitch awnings. We are touring so not booking in advance, at reception with two dogs we were advised the price was €37 a night! However it had so many good reviews we wanted to give it a go but I was a bit taken aback so checked online and they had an offer for €18.60 a night. So I stood in the reception and booked two nights on my phone for €36 plus €12 for the dogs (a charge I don’t fully understand as there are absolutely no facilities for dogs, not even complimentary poo bags). So that wasn’t a good first impression as we felt they had tried to rip us off on the price. However, the site has a lovely pool area, direct access to the beach, laundry at a reasonable price and lovely toilets and showers, that with a bit of maintenance would be perfect (shower head need replacing and fixtures are starting to rust). The restaurant is the nicest we have seen on a campsite however the food was possibly the worst we have had since we left the U.K., my lamb skewer was tough and so salty it was inedible - I took it back to the Moho, washed it off and gave it to the dogs and my DH Hd the four cheese tagliatelle But it was totally overwhelmed by the blue cheese that he didn’t finish it. If you do stay take a short walk along the beach to the left - there are a number of excellent restaurants to choose from. On that note, don’t expect golden sands, the beach is more like grey gravel. The pitches are fine and separated by hedging and tree but ours didn’t get a speck of sun, all the plants and trees are much more fully grown than the pictures. There are a lot of long term stayers but they are very friendly but out All in all I’m a bit torn, it had all the ingredients to be a fantastic stay but someHow it just wasn’t.
