Hymer have a reputation for build high quality and incredibly strong caravans. This 3 berth 2007 Hymer Nova, built by Lowdhams in the UK to Hymer specification, is testament to that reputation. It has the advantage of having the entrance door on the left hand (near) side. It has a very spacious layout, with a large front lounge, centrally located kitchen and large rear end washroom. At the front, the double glazed panoramic window, together with the roof lights, ensures that the lounge area is light and airy. All of the windows are double-glazed and feature night ventilation latches, fly screens and blinds as well as curtains which compliment the upholstery. The bench seats are finished in attractive upholstery and there is a storage chest between the two seats with a fold out table. Extensive storage is provided in the overhead lockers and under the seats. There is a built in stereo and speakers in one of the overhead lockers. All of the furniture in the Hymer is glued, screwed and dowelled in the factory, ensuring that the interior of this caravan has lasted very well. Also in the washroom there is dedicated storage for a free standing external dining table. The Hymer Nova range was built on an Al-Ko galvanised chassis using PUAL construction methods, which features closed pore PU foam providing pleasantly cool temperatures in summer and warmth inside the caravan in the winter. Bonding technology was used rather than screws, improving the durability of Hymer's caravans and minimising the chances of water ingress. The external skin of the caravan is made from aluminium with a stove enamel coating and the roof skin is GRP. This caravan has an Al-Ko hitch and built in Al-Ko wheel lock. It is equipped with alloy wheels which are fitted with Tyron safety bands to prevent a deflated tyre from leaving the rim. The caravan comes with a built in water tank under the dinette seat and two gas bottles in the front locker which also supply an external barbecue point.
