Family owned, well known and indeed recognised for supplying touring caravans throughout Western and Central Scotland, Halleys Burnhouse Caravans come to being as a company in 1948. The business was started by one of our current director's grandfathers after purchasing three caravans, one of which he decided to retail. Now 70 years later, the business is located in the pleasant North Ayrshire countryside and the small village of Burnhouse, where we have been established since 1985. Central between Ayr and Glasgow, a thirty minutes drive either way, Burnhouse is a great choice when thinking about your next caravan, service or accessory. New caravan sales are represented through Swift with the Sprite and Eccles ranges, which for 2018 are all under the single 'Swift' banner. The award-winning Sprite range has a huge range of layouts, weights and price points to suit every current or potential caravanner and represent great value for money without compromise on comfort and specification. The exterior has received a massive redesign incorporating Swift exclusive LED rear light clusters along with a bright and airy, retro themed interior with the new 'Tyrion' soft furnishing scheme as standard. The Eccles range has a style of it's own, representing contemporary design and luxurious touring in a lightweight bodyshell. Both ranges are built using Swift's 'SMART+' construction methods, eliminating timber from the structure and incorporating balanced GRP panels, hail-resistant roof and a woven underside to build a strong, dependable tourer backed by a full 10-year manufacturer's warranty. The full Swift range also benefits from the latest 'Command' interface from Sargent Electrical, allowing control and monitoring of your new tourer via a Smart-phone based app and other innovations such as 'Connect Direct' where you the customer have direct access to Swift's customer service and warranty teams. New for 2018, the Sprite Quattro EB is the layout of the moment - a rear bedroom, central washroom layout. The flexibility of the central washroom layout allows for greater privacy and flexibility during day and night use. Our NCC Approved Workshop is staffed by factory trained and qualified technicians, who can carry out annual servicing, maintenance and a variety of specialist repairs and insurance work. The Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS) is operated by the National Caravan Council (NCC) and is designed to secure the highest levels of service standards are delivered by participating workshops.
