The Bailey Pegasus 646 has a very practical layout for family caravan holidays. In the front of the van is a twin or a large double bed, and in the rear there is a separate bedroom with 3 fixed bunk beds and a dinette which can also be a single bed, this rear bedroom can be completely partitioned from the rest of the caravan by means of a solid sliding door. By day, the bedroom can be used as another lounge, enabling the children to have their own space! The front section of the Bailey Pegasus 646 has a spacious lounge area, with large aircraft style overhead storage cupboards. The wooden slats for the pull out bed roll out from under these seats. The lounge comfortably seats 6 people, the under seat storage has front access doors. Set into the roof of the lounge is a large Heki roof light - this gives the lounge a light and airy feel as well as plenty of ventilation when fully opened. For those occasions when all dine together there is a fold away table with its own tidy stowage compartment. The well appointed kitchen in the Bailey Pegasus 646 has a four ring gas hob, separate grill and oven, a built in Daewoo microwave oven and a 107 litre 3-way Dometic fridge with a full width ice box. There is plenty of food/cooking utensil storage space, ample worktops and halogen downlighting. There is a Omni-vent 3 speed bi-directional extractor fan. Heating is taken care of by the efficient Truma 3002 heating system with supplementary 230v Ultraheat fan system, with silent night running, blowing warm air through vents throughout the living area, bedroom and washroom. The tried and tested Truma Ultrastore system supplies plenty of piping hot water as required and both are dual fuel (electric and gas). The caravan is fitted with both 12V and 240V lighting system. All the windows are fitted with a flyscreen, blackout blind, and curtains. There is an onboard 40 litre water tank. There is a carbon monoxide detector. There are removable carpets. There is an inbuilt Radio. TV stations with 230V, 12V and coax aerial sockets are positioned in the front and the rear of the caravan. Mounted on the roof is a directional tv aerial. The bathroom in the Bailey Pegasus 646 has a Thetford cassette toilet with electric flush, a separate shower cubicle, sink, bathroom cabinet and mirror. There is a rooflight for ventilation. It’s positioned in the centre of the caravan opposite the main door, making it easily accessible without disturbing those sleeping in the rear bedroom. Externally, there are alloy wheels, heavy duty corner steadies, gas assisted handbrake, 13 pin towing electrics, ATC braking system, a spare wheel (in an Al-Ko 'under slung' carrier), an external BBQ point, 'flush fit' awning light and an external 240v. There are a whole host of security devices including a passive infra-red alarm system with tilt sensor (key fob operated), a factory fitted Tracker and the windows are etched with the CRiS number, 2 Alko wheel locks and an Alko hitch lock. Also included in the sale are a number of essential caravanning extras, making this caravan excellent value for money. The extras include a full Dorema awning, Avtec 12V TV, Aquaroll, waste container, electric hook up lead, mains water and waste connections for a serviced pitch and 2 gas bottles. The caravan is Cris registered and comes with manuals, paperwork and service history. We have owned the van since 2015 and are only the 2nd owners from new. It is in good condition for its age with clean upholstery and has always been smoke free. Regretful sale as our children are now teenagers and we don’t have the time to make proper use of it. We’ve enjoyed family holidays in the UK and in France. It comes with twin motor movers which make it really easy to manoeuvre into position on a tight pitch. Payment is by bank transfer only and the van will not be released until bank confirm payment has cleared. As with all private sales it is ‘SOLD AS SEEN’ no returns or refunds. It has some small marks and defects as would be expected for its age. It is however a a very clean and tidy van that could be taken out tomorrow.
