Lovely CL

Oak Ridge Farm
Just back from 7 nights on this lovely CL. Quiet, short grass and clippings collected, EHU and water on each pitch. No toilet or shower but we use our own facilities. £20 per night £22 with an awning. Well spaced out and flat all grass pitches. Access down a narrow unsurfaced farm track with few passing places but good access from the B class road. Would definitely recommend and we would return if wanted to come back to this area.

Great family site

Oak Ridge Farm
This is a site where caravaners come back year after year and become good friends. It is ideally located for the beautiful beaches around Newquay or with the A30 nearby for exploring further afield. The field is level and well kept with electricity and water available on all pitches. The adjacent field is available for exercising dogs. The self catering accommodation on site is perfect for non-caravanning family and friends. Friendly and helpful owner. Hoping to spend many more years visiting this site.

Disappointing

Oak Ridge Farm
Despite having visited dozens of different CL's we were made to feel unwelcome at this site. On arrival we pulled up on site. The board showing pitch allocations was at least 3 weeks out of date, so we went to find the owner. He made no attempt to greet us and said nothing more than tell us our allocated pitch. The only other time we saw him was later that day when he stormed across the site to remonstrate that our dog, which is extremely well behaved, was not on its lead, in spite of the fact it was not doing any harm and was alongside us. We rather felt as though we were being spied on. On our last day we went to the owners house to pay and discovered a leaflet rack which would have been handy on day one. We would never have found this as it is not our habit to snoop around the private quarters of site owners property. It is a pity that our experience was marred by these events as in other respect the site was acceptable.
