Highly Recommended

Shamwari
I spent one night on this beautiful site. Pitches were very large on well kept grass. The view was beautiful. Although you can’t see it from the site the road can be heard but is not at all intrusive. It is still a very peaceful site. Lyme Regis was a 15 minute drive away and Tesco is about 5 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again and hopefully for longer next time.

Great Location

Shamwari
Shamwari, an easy to get to CL with no narrow lanes to go down. Grass pitches are spacious, well drained and regularly cut, with a separate dog walking area and recycling facilities on site. Campsite is Immaculately set out and feels very secure. Countryside views and sunsets are breathtaking. The newly installed electric coin boxes are easy to access and use taking £1/£2 coins. We only spent between £1.50- £2 daily which was very good value as pitch fees were set at £16 for a unit with two adults. Carol and Martin are great hosts, helpful and welcoming to everyone. Shamwari is in a great location to visit the Jurassic Coastline/South West Coast Path of nearby Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Axemouth, Seaton, Beer, Branscombe and Sidmouth. We’ll be back 😃

Peaceful with lovely views

Shamwari
Well kept site, Owners very friendly and knowledgeable. Site is very peaceful and each pitch has views across the valley. There is a lovely dog walk around the field in front of the caravans, which anyone can use (we don't have a dog) and it is good to see all the wild flowers and new trees that have been planted in this area. The site in itself is very secure, you have to go past the owners bungalow and through some gates. Access from / to the main road is fine and Carole does assist if required. There are lots of walks in the area and from the site,so very conveniently placed. Had a lovely stay and will go again.
