Wonderful 10 day stay! Warmly welcomed, peaceful site!

Rockbeare Court Farm
After a long journey from the North Midlands, it was nice to arrive at Rockbeare for a ten night stay! Nice and peaceful on site, warmly welcomed and pointed out to a good spot to set up! Big pitches, plenty of space, electric hookup and water available! In all honesty the toilet and shower facilities are a little tired but we’re not complaining at all, as they’re adequate, they're always very clean and we had no problems while we were there! There’s a little noise as expected from the local building site which is not too close but they were not too early or too late on site! There’s some road noise but not loads of it p, of course we then added to that noise as we ourselves drove around the area! Easy to get out and about from this site! There are lots of places to visit within easy reach, Exeter, the coast, lovely little towns and villages, also plenty of National Trust properties! We would be more than happy to book again, if we come back to this lovely spot in Devon!

Nice Site

Rockbeare Court Farm
We enjoyed this site but not quite as much as others seem to have done. The pitches were flat and decent sized and each one had its own electric and water which is great. We did not find the toilet facilities to be as good as others but they were adequate. The owner was pleasant and helpful. We had some noise from local construction but obviously this cannot be helped. It was a little more out the way for travelling the area than I thought but the roads were good and not too busy. The local Chinese restaurant was a bit rough around the edges but we enjoyed our takeaway. Our main problem was that the edges of the hard standing pitches had turned to mud which I have never seen before, hopefully this would not be a problem when the weather is dry. I would use again.

Lovely CL

Rockbeare Court Farm
We travelled down to the site during Storm Noa so very wet and windy but what a lovely site. We couldn’t use our awning so had to store it in the shower compartment which meant I had to use the on-site shower block. Small but functional and had everything that was needed. The site looks nice in the photos but is even better in reality with nice views and some pitches have views of the airport. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back, not just because we have family nearby but because it is such a lovely place.

Another wonderful ten days

Rockbeare Court Farm
Another warm welcome from Martin and his father, plus the added bonus of upgrading works to the shower and toilet block, which when finished will make a huge difference to this wonderful site. New individual water supplies to each pitch too. Cannot wait to return later in the year.

Two enjoyable weeks

Rockbeare Court Farm
This was the first ever CL we stayed in, and we have been returning ever since. A hugely popular site, in particular due to the storage facilities, so many members store their vans and the owners bring them out as required. Five gravel pitches plus additional grassy spaces to one side. A shower block, showing its age now sadly, and good disposal facilities. Martin is a really friendly owner, his father also, they just need to learn when to say 'no, we are full,' otherwise the tranquility of the site could be ruined, which would be a real shame.
