Situated on the fringes of the beautiful Cathedral City of Exeter and bordering the 'East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' (which incorporates the natural World Heritage Site the 'Jurassic Coast') this popular CL site represents an ideal base for discovering the delights of Devon.
Located just 3 miles south of the M5's busy Junction 30 you'll soon find yourself setting up camp in the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. A warm welcome soon follows!
The scenic Exe Estuary Cycle Trail is easily reached, as is the traditional thatched 'Olde Worlde' country pub/restaurant just a short stroll away. The site is linked to a neighbouring village via the public footpath through open fields, perfect dog walking territory! For your convenience a Farm Shop with cafe and takeaway is nearby (we recommend the classic Devon Cream Tea!). Tourist information leaflets are available on site, highlighting some of the many attractions in the close vicinity. Further afield the 'English Riviera' of Torbay or the UK's last great wilderness the 'Dartmoor National Park' is a mere 30 minutes drive.
Set on a small family run dairy farm the site offers a level, spacious, south facing lawned pitches with fine unobtrusive views and wonderful sunsets (weather permitting). The facilities boasts both ladies and gents flush toilets, each with hand wash basin and a large walk in coin operated shower. Electric Hook Ups serves all pitches.
With attractions & activities in close proximity 'The Mallards' serene and pleasant rural setting will provide your perfect country retreat.
