Swanage Certificated Locations

Swanage is a superbly located seaside resort, near some of England's finest coastal scenery. There are miles of golden beaches and rugged rocky formations such as the limestone arch of Durdle Door and the cliffs of Lulworth Cove.

The resort also has a pier and Durlston National Nature Reserve lies just south of the town, while the colourful Swanage Beach Huts can be hired daily.

Families can enjoy lots of interest inland too, with steam railway rides on the Purbeck Line. These pass Corfe Castle, a ruin today, but an important Norman bastion built by William the Conqueror and partly destroyed in the English Civil War. It is owned by the National Trust, which runs tea rooms there.
