Hailsham Certificated Locations

A rural market town in East Sussex, Hailsham is an ideal destination for a getaway in the lovely English countryside.

The town looks out over the Pevensey Levels, a natural conservation area that's particularly popular with bird watchers. The 1066 Path crosses the marsh area - this is a long-distance walking route that follows the route that William the Conqueror took in 1066.

Herstmonceux Castle is a popular destination for a day out near Hailsham. The impressive red-brick moated castle dates from the 15th century, and there are some 300 acres of landscaped grounds to explore.The estate is also home to the Observatory Science Centre, which features hands-on science exhibits and hosts family-friendly events throughout the year.
