Freshwater Certificated Locations

Freshwater is one of the most beautiful locations on the coast of the Isle of Wight, situated on the western end of the island, with a rugged bay offering dramatic rocky scenery and an unspoiled vista across the English Channel. Highlights include the Stag and Mermaid, a pair of sea stacks lying just off the white cliffs.

The village of Freshwater is small but attractive, with some good places to eat and drink. The village also includes the Dimbola Museum and Galleries in Dimbola Lodge; home to pioneering Victorian photographer Julia Margaret Cameron.

To the west of the bay is the spectacular Pinnacles Headland, while to the east is the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
