Dartford Certificated Locations
Dartford is the principal town of the English county of Kent and is an excellent location to use as a base if you want to explore this part of the world.
However, it also has plenty to offer in its own right, including a surprising amount of history and associated monuments.
The remains of the Dartford Priory can be visited, which is where Henry VIII had his manor house and held Privy Council meetings in 1545. There's also Holy Trinity Church, which was constructed in the 11th century and is mentioned in the Domesday Book.
Once you've had your fill of history, you can enjoy something to eat at one of Dartford's many restaurants or cafes, stroll around the huge park and make the most of the thriving nightlife. There are also excellent shopping opportunities thanks to nearby Bluewater.
Dartford is within easy reach of London and the Weald too, making it ideal for holidays no matter what you want to do.
