The area is popular thanks to its artistic enclaves and beautiful shores, and there's also plenty of history to explore.

Go for a walk along the  Leas, a cliff-top promenade that was designed in the mid-1800s. It includes gardens, a bandstand, walking and cycling trails, an amphitheatre and a large children's play area.

The Creative Quarter features winding cobbled streets and is home to a bustling arts scene. More than 100 artistic enterprises can be found in the area, and visitors can browse the studio-galleries, look around the little shops or grab a bite in one of the stylish cafes.
