Skegness Certificated Locations

Skegness has been synonymous with the great British seaside holiday ever since the rail link to the town was established in the 1870s. In 1908, the Jolly Fisherman appeared on an advertising poster for Skegness, giving the resort a friendly face.

Holidaymakers continue to flock to the town, which grew out of its fishing village roots to welcome the new clientele. It never became too big, however, and Skegness retains that small town feel.

Today, you can indulge in many seaside activities, such as exploring the pier, playing crazy golf and dining on fish and chips or ice cream, all with a wonderful coastal backdrop.
