Why stay here ...

Opposite Willow Cottage and it's beautiful NGS Open Gardens is the new stunning lakeside site. Surrounded on three sides by mature trees, a little suntrap with 'toe in the water' pitches, new terraced hard standing, makes this easy to access site a dream.

Linked to the former site ponds it attracts the same abundance of wildlife, ducks with chicks popping in and out of their houses, woodpeckers tapping, dragon flies hovering, swifts and swallows feeding on the wing. As evening falls the heavenly birdsong fills the air, visiting bats and hoot of the resident tawny soon ensues.

Within 2 miles, a 'must visit' National Trust Gunby Hall and Gardens,a charming country house dated 1700, set in Victorian walled gardens.

A 3 mile round robin walk leads you to the quaint old village of Burgh-le-Marsh, there you'll find a Post Office, butchers, bakers and well stocked late opening supermarket, also boasting  a five sailed windmill, alongside a fine dining restaurant, new pizza takeaway, a superb Chinese takeaway and Chippy, not forgetting the famous Bell Hotel, on Steak Night the best two steak meals including bottle of wine for £25.

From site  half a mile up the lane, flag down the hourly bus to the metropolis of Skegness for all the fun of the fair,a little further on, visit the hides and marshes of Gibralter Point Nature Reserve, be sure to lunch at the coffee shop!

Take the bus the other way through the beautiful Lincolnshire wolds, walk the snipe dales, pop in for lunch at the George, or the renowned Rachael's Cafe. Next stop Horncastle another gem to visit. Ideal site for wildlife lovers.

So much to see and do, you've just got to come and stay. Only £11 per night for two adults, dog n awning! Free WiFi. Get booked in, we'd love to see you.

This is an ADULTS ONLY CL.

The best CL ever!

This is the most beautiful CL we have ever been too in over 30 years of Caravaning. The pond is simply stunning, beautifully landscaped and visited by a wide variety of wild life. The hosts, Bob and Karen are very welcoming and hospitable too. It's in a great location for exploring the area but you will soon want to be back. So Peaceful, tranquil and paradisaic. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful place.

Been here several times and Birdsong across the road. In my opinion, this should be the model for all CL sites.

Great place to stay

Booked here for 3 nights and ended up on the field across the road, 'Birdsong'. What a great place, lovely little pond to walk round, opposite a public footpath to Burgh le Marsh. I'll be returning here.

Pretty,Relaxing CL

Our return to this CL in July was a relief after isolatating, we felt so safe on this lovely tranquil site. Bob & Karen as always the perfect hosts, we returned in August (last week) on one of the hottest days trying to set up our awning when Karen appeared with a cold drink of "Punch" for us, it was so welcomed and what a caring host she is. Our stay as always was relaxing with lovely walks into Burg with our 2 dogs. Thankyou for our stay with you this summer, see you both next year. Jenny&Rob
