Lovely Well Cared for Site

Lovely well cared for site, with plenty of wildlife to watch especially Rabbits and a young Deer. Easy access to Marriots Way Cycle track and local bys to Aylsham snd Burgh Valley Rlwy. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

The Classic CL

The Siding
We have been staying on Claire & Tim's CL almost every year since it opened and that in itself speaks volumes. There will always be the odd visitor with the griping hobby and the one here, referred to the time of our own stay this year, which was during the hottest, driest period in a long time; the fire risk was high and the use of a firepit was definitely a no-go. We were not surprised that Tim needed to intervene and, knowing Tim well now, this would not have been done lightly. Tim; rude? Never! The same visitors were also seen dragging quite large, dead branches out of the shrubbery with which to feed this fire; totally without permission. Need I say more? This is truly the classic CL and I cannot recommend it more highly.

Regularly visit the Sidings

The Siding
We have been caravanning for over 50 years and the Sidings is one of the CLs we now regularly visit. Claire.and Tim always give us a warm welcome Its location offers us a wide range of options to keep us active, including easy distance to the North Norfolk coast, easy to get to the Norwich Park and Ride, walking and cycling out of the site and straight out onto the Marriott Way. And it has the best free WiFi on any CL we have stayed at. This years visit was different. We hate to say it but it was just too hot and we just had to hide from the sun. We heard many fire engines dashing to their next emergency. Fortunately Tim does not allow open fires so despite the very dry grass we we felt as safe as we could hope. Of course we keep this CL on our list to return to

One of our "go to" CLs

The Siding
We've been using this CL for a few years and despite a previous review, have always found Tim and Clare to be friendly and welcoming hosts. The site is grass and yes, there are rabbit holes and droppings as there are on some of the main club sites, Incleboro Fields to name but one. No facilities, but recycling and good WiFi. The site is ideally situated for visiting the coast, the broads, or Norwich. It has the benefit of being right next to Marriots Way, ideal for cyclists and dog walkers. Cawston has a great little pub, and also the lovely deli "All things nice" where you can have breakfast should you wish. A good local shop/post office, and fuel station. We will return.

What a great site

The Siding
We came here because of the proximity to the Marriotts way. Great cycling and great visits to villages "en route". we booked for 4 nights but it wasnt enough! stayed for 5 and would have stayed longer but site was full. I'm not surprised! Owner was very helpfull and anxious to ensure we had a great stay. People in surrounding villages/shops/pubs very friendly. Couldnt wish for a better site. Will definitely return.
