Townend Farm
We stayed for a week. Read all the reviews before booking. Not disappointed in any way. So easy to get around by car, we used the bus a couple of times, walked on the Cleveland Way and returned on the bus. Nice day at Redcar races. Julie friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Good meal at the Tiger Inn & Exelcesior Fish & chips in Slaithes were delicious. Hope to go back next year as we have plenty more to see in the area.

Five hardstanding pitches away from the road. Courteous owners. Lovely views across countryside. Regular bus service to Whitby and Saltburn/Middlesbrough. Pub across the road with cask ale and good food.

Fabulous CL experience

Townend Farm
Townend Farm really is a fabulous site - peaceful, picturesque, perfect. Julie goes out of her way to give a very warm welcome, and everyone we encountered was so friendly. The cleanest waste disposal area I've seen, very well-kept pitches and surrounds, on a beautiful animal farm. Very handy for Staithes, Whitby and Saltburn on Sea. We couldn't reccomend this site more highly. Steve & Sue Smith.

Great site

Townend Farm
We stayed here on 19th July for 2 nights, we loved it so much we stayed another night, Julie is very welcoming and full of information such as Bus times and exactly where to catch bus and what to ask for, great pub Tiger inn across the road, had Sunday lunch there, highly recommended, pizza take away just around the corner, equally recommended. Julie also told us about the nearby farm shop we had a short walk up there for a cuppa and a scone. Cant recommend the site or facilities nearby enough, we will be back.
